I've just brought a supra import tt ...

I'm currently loving it and i don't know why i didn't buy one sooner

However she is low on oil and im not sure whats the best to buy??

Any help would be great..

I use Silkolene Pro S 5w-40. I buy it from Opie oils who have a banner at the top of the forum.

10W40 is what Toyota recommends. You can put other fully synthetic oils in it if you like. eg the Silkoline CJ mentioned.

Do you know when the oil was last changed? If not you should change it. The turbos on these cars need a good supply of decent oil.

I forgot to mention that mine is running BPU hence the slight difference in reccomendations.

She's completly standard and well in need of a few quid spending.

I also need advice for where i can get a de-restriction? and maybe a good check over and service in the west midlands area?

Of the people I know, I would think the closest to you would be either Chris Wilson or Turbo Fit at MK.

Thor Racing do a good SLD (derestrictor) and a DSC (speedo converter) that won't screw up the speed sensitive power steering and autobox changes like the cheapo ones do. It's a bit dear though - about £100 iirc

I use Silkolene Pro too, I also get mine from Opie Oils. Think it's about £45 delivered, bit pricey but well worth it me thinks.

As for de-restriction, do you mean removing the cats (BPU) or just delimiting the car from 112mph?
