Spongy brakes?

If they were okay before, it could be air in the system, if that is the case a bleed and top up would cure it.

 

Also check for movement of the brake master cylinder, these can flex quite a bit and cause a spongy feeling (not sure why it would suddenly do this though, unless something is loose). I fitted a Cusco brake master cylinder brace a few weeks ago to minimise the flexing, this made a noticable difference to the pedal feel and stopping power, here are a few pics, also see write up [thread=57215]HERE[/thread]
