Stolichnya Posted March 31, 2006 Share Posted March 31, 2006 hello all. could i have some help please. I have a 97 VVTi which has developed a noise. Until the car is really really warm i get a vibration/resonance from the rear, more towards the right when under boost. the odd thing is that when i have been on boost a few times it goes away. only does it when warm or when 1st using the turbos somewhat. i may not be explaining this very well but want to make sure it not a known thing that someone can say "ah yes mate....." Could it be the exhaust (got custom made no cats) that is rubbing or sitting against the car until its nice and hot? the exhaust has been on the car ages and and the car has only produced this noise for a the last two / three days. thanks for any suggestions.
