I had my Sup MOT'd today and couldn't help but smile at the young apprentice helping the tester do the MOT. He was grinning from ear to ear when sitting in my Sup flicking indicators and what not, obviously sitting in a Supra was the highlight of his day.

When he got out the car he said to me kinda embarrassed 'I bet its a bit quicker than my 1.1 Fiesta'

I just smiled and said 'we've all gotta start somwehere'

This got me thinking about all the cars I've owned and how I worked my way up the food chain!

Ive had 70 out of a 2CV, flat out down hill. Scary stuff!!!!! But they were excellent cars in the summer with the roof down pootling along, got the same reaction as I do with the supe, smiles and waves (and ppl let me out at junctions in the 2CV)

There's just too many too list all of them, but it gives you some sort of idea.

Supra and the Griff are probably the best, but I really miss the Plymouth GTX, and wouldn't say no to another MR2 turbo ;)

1992 Mini Cooper S Grand Prix (still got this! - full black leather, huge Webasto sunroof)
Saab 9000 (comfy, but worse mpg than a Supra!)
2000 Smart car (600cc cheap to run, but terrible turbo lag)
1973 Mini pickup, converted to electric (yes, really! Still got this)
1990 Mk3 Supra Turbo auto (nice, but a bit beat-up)
2004 Smart Brabus (nice, but still an expensive bag of shite. Has needed warranty repairs
7 times already in just 18 months I should have spent the cash on a Mk4...)
1991 Mk3 Supra NA auto rustbucket (was desperate for some fun last summer!)
1992 Mk3 Supra Turbo manual, with NO rust & full black leather :p

I still have the Mini Cooper S, the electric Mini pickup, the unreliable bag-of-shite Smartie

Signal Yellow Mini 1.3 - even had a turbo kit ready for it but it got sold as I needed the money.

Ford Fiesta 1.0 - old and crap but it got me from A-B...until the engine died.

Austin Metro 1.1 (I think) - not quite as old, even worse, but it got me from A-B... until the gearbox died... then the engine.

Vauxhall Chevette 1.3 - Fantastically cool car (well I thought so) had it all throughout Uni, everyone called it the sweeny car. Was absolutely mint when I got it, only around 40k miles when I bought it I think. Never had any major problems with it either. RWD fun too :)

Peugeot 405 Mi16 - Nice car, I had big plans for it. Threw a rod, sold it.

Peugeot 405 SRI - Bought as an interim run around...

Might have not had a lot of joy with the GT380 as mine wasn't a two stroke... although it did run on two cylinders rather than three a lot. In fact my dad brought it from Ireland to Sheffield running on two cylinders, still slurped juice like nothing and failed to stop with that big solid disc brake.

You'd have a garage worth a fortune if you'd kept some of the bikes you'd had though.

6. Renault Laguna with the airflow pack - slammed it, twin pipes, big wheels, drove it into a hedge, got no insurance payout - traded it in for no. 7
7. BMX 325i Coupe - 1992 with 192bhp as standard before I slapped an M3 kit on lovely 18" Hartge alloys
8. Toyota Supra NA in black - virginity lost
9. Toyota Supra UK TT in Storm Blue - third love of my life! Currently have huge overhaul which now includes rebuilt turbos, new cylinder head, renewed stem seals, reseated valves etc etc etc
