Curious your cams didn't seem to have a noticeable effect? Although it did pull to 6500 which is more than a stock cam setup would. Might be a limitiation of the T61 size?

I say "limitation" but of course those are actually rather good figures :D

It's still a higher starting point than I imagined. I thought the 61 was a quick spooling single? I know it is in relation to bigger singles but majority power at 4k is still too high for me! Would cams sort this out?

If I'd ever gone single I'd prefer spooling as early as possible even if it meant reducing power at the top.

Good result though. I gotta come back to Supras and get a single one day. :D

Higher RPM point than I'd thought a T61 would be too, doesn't seem that much different from the 67, although maybe they were taking it easy up to the red line.

Might have to be a 61DBB for me then! :D In about 10 years time when I can afford it. :(

Guys this is going through an auto box....you can't dyno it like a manual...and the losses are greater.

Because Burt can't roll on in 5th (1:1) from 1500rpm he can't benefit as much from the spool.

But IMO...if he's running 264/264 cams the exhaust side of the turbo is being a little restrictive. I'd guess that going from the .68a/r to the .84 would yield more power but with the loss of spool. It maybe that the map is conservative?

But lets see what happens when Burt tries race fuel ;)
