Did any of you guys/girls venture to santa pod today?? good day till it rained at 4pm i will post some pics of some awesome supra's that were there very shortly so watch this space:p most likely tomo cause i'm going to get very drunk now!!!!

I was there, shame about the rain but I still managed a fair few runs.

Can't wait to see the pics, I didn't get many good ones

i when today, only watching as my clutch and flywheel still haven't arrived supra steve i spoke to ran a 13.1 @109 i think which was good as i don't think the track temps were very good and the was a crappy head wind too, helping for the excuses

dj craig had two supras the red one only ran once or twice i think running a 10.9@130 i think (big twins) and the other silver one he had (had a gander) was t88 powered, guessing it had a fair bit on it, sounded and looked like anti lag and drag diff 11.8@124 look very quick and both goregous looking too so not bad a day for the supras.

have to say (no offence scoob boys) are subarus the new escort or ford focus my god never see so many on the road and at the pod and it seem a few mr chav men are getting hold of them too

highlights f-ing quick arial atom with civic type r engine with turbo charger from cpl running 11.8@124mph

i went to santa pod today, the rain held out so really ill ay to the people who didnt go fearing the wet weather they missed a good day.

say a big hello to supra steve and turbo bungle who went flying up the strip a few times 2day, it was good to see some supras.

but what happened to everyone else.... no stand at all!

hope to see some footage from marky mark if he puts it up.

I definately need to get to pod soon, it seems like it takes ages to get to from essex though?

i got picked up at half 7 this morning and went the m25 way and we got to the pod by 9

came bk the m11 way and we left at half 4 got home at half 6 but traffic was horrendous due to road works

Guess that's not too bad, It's probably bacause I'm normally convoying when we go that it takes so long, that and that I'm crap with directions!

Yeah, it takes me around 45mins - an hour and I'm only 30 miles away!

unfortunately i didn't get 13.1 @109 as Dee RZ thought :-

I had 4 runs a some fella burnt out his M3 clutch and gave me his ticket (proof there are some nice BMW drivers out there)

My last 2 races were against Turbobungle who i believe is BPU+ with a shot of 50 NOS (361 rwhp) who managed a PB of 13.0@112 on his 2nd ever go. But on my last go lucky for me he didn't do as well and we mirrored each other the whole way down the strip and both got 13.3 - the video footage looks brilliant.

Again the same old story with getting traction in 1st gear and a bit of 2nd too, i even had trouble launching at 2,500 rpm !!! and could only managed a 2.35 0-60ft at best.

So I still haven't broken into the 12s and no new PB for me today but that won't stop me trying again later in the year

It was very nice meeting up with a few of you from the club earlier, can't wait for the next time !

I'll look forward to the video footage.

Just converting to the computer then a little editing and you should have some footage, so give us a couple of days and i will post up.

whats peoples best 60 ft times on street tyres i have done 2.0, now have better tyres i believe, my first run this year will be pod at the chavy redline rumble (still waiting for my clutch and flywheel from the u.s ) should see some more bpu's in the 12's this year where they belong i reckon
