I was wondering if you knew the part number and the price for the drivers side rubber window seal that goes all the way from the front to the bottom of the rear 1/4 window...

Its the seal that the window closes against when you close the door...

let me find out how much they are new mate...

Ive got a small problem when the car hits mach 1 the wind squeels around the window...

I think its either in need of a new rubber seal + its also in need of a bit of adjusting!

Ive adjusted the window befoe but need to get the measuring tape out and make it exactly the same as the other side and go and test it again..

Im working on SMALL problems now refining the car.. Next up is a bit of sound insulaition around the gearbox and the exhuast system..

eerr eemmm if you ever get it over 50mph you'll realise that tyre noise is the worst offender lmao.

I know.. Rear arches and possibly fronts may get some attention..

Just dont want to weight her down too much..

How do you 'adjust' the windows mate?? I have anasty shriek that starts uo at around 100leptons on my passanger side window (no, it's not the ballast!!). I had looked at trying to adjust the door catch to pull it in a fraction tighter but that seems to be a no-go???:)

You need to take the door card off.. There are 2 stoppers for the window in the up possition.. They need ajusuting down so the window can go further up ..

Sorry Chris been offline for last couple of days, I'll check price of new seals with my supplier and let you know ASAP. I'm sure I can get you a very good deal, but I'll need to order the parts which would take a few weeks.

Hi Chris

Price for the seals would be £40 each, including airmail to you. I woudl need to order the parts from Toyota Japan which woudl take 4-5 week to receive HK, plus 5-7 days to post to UK.
