Tricky-Ricky Posted March 20, 2006 Share Posted March 20, 2006 Anyone know if jack up the car using the front cross member? or is it to weak? i can't see any way of getting a jack far enough back to use the second cross member, as the car is to low and the undertray hangs to low! Gamer Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 What I had to do is to jack up the back of the car under the diff because that is the only place I could get the floor jack under. Then I placed axle stands under the rear on the support points and released the floor jack. That enabled me to make enough room to place the jack under the side skirts to jack up each front wheel. Tricky-Ricky Posted March 21, 2006 Author Share Posted March 21, 2006 Thanks for the tips guys:) have to try the planks and/or jack up the diff, can one side only be jacked up using the sill lift points with a pair of trolley jacks without causing damage, if i use a couple of wooden blocks? got to do my decat and oil change some how!
