Hi Mark
If you want a new standard Toyota auto gear knob, I am organising a group buy at the moment see HERE, although response seems a bit thin at the moment, so price may be slightly higher if I can't get 10 orders.
The only good quality after market gear knob that includes an overdrive button is the Levoc one, (Razo also make one, but the quality is poor).
Here are some pics of the Levoc gear knob (spyda hope you don't mind me using your pics  ). Available in a number of different finishes; chrome/carbon fibre, chrome/black, chrome/wood effect, etc.

Hi
If you want one, you can pay pal to me the same address in my sig below, can you add £3 total to cover the pay pal transfer fee please. I'll be able to get one sent out next week to you, if you let me know which version you would prefer.
cheers

Hi Mark
Yes I was told the Levoc knob is a straight swap, the pics above are of 'spyda's car, I'll pm him to see if he can confirm.
cheers

I like the Levoc! Are the hard to fit? Someone who works on Supras for a living once told me that it took him two hours to fit a Razo... And I can only presume he knows a lot more about fitting these things than I do.
I don't know much and it took me about that long. I was saying to Nic, the "hardest" part was getting the inside part at the right level. But that's time consuming rather than difficult.

Cheers for the info Nic, think i'll give it a miss - can't stand fannying around with Paypal...

Nic, think I'll take one of those Levoc shifters. Is the one shown in the car the chrome/black model? Do you have any more photos?
I also sent you a PM a while back about getting the necessary parts for my EGT gauge. Can you still get them for me? Could you drop me a PM for the combined cost?
Thanks.
It's the Chrome and carbon one. :D

Thanks. Looks awesome. :)
Cheers. I was/am made up with it.
Feels much nicer in MANU mode too.
Blimey I like that. If anyone can post up useable fitting instructions I might just have one.
Ouch got me

Hi Justin
I have just ordered a couple of these for members, which should arrive here in next 2-3 weeks, so should hopefully get some feedback about installation. I have not fitted one personally, so not sure what is involved.
Might be worth having a chat with Spyda (his pictured on first post), as he installed his and may be able to help.
cheers
Nic am ready to buy but can you point me to a website where we can view the options of the different colours. I think I want carbon fibre black but there seem to be 3 choices in black on that pic.
I also saw a site in the US that sells em but the OD button is on the wrong side of course.
Thanks
Justin

Hi Justin
The pic below was taken from the Japanese website, it was the only pics they had. There are 2 types of knob shown (only found this out last week) the 3 on the top (CF effect, wood effect and rubberised black) do not include the OD button, the 2 on the bottom include the OD button, so basically there is only the choice of either CF effect and wood effect. The pics of Spyda's gear knob installed erlier in the thread shows the CF effect version.

Thanks Nic, my Levoc shifter arrived today. It looks great.
The only problem... I haven't got a clue how to fit (there seem to be quite a lot of components) and the instructions are all in Japanese!
You don't need all the bits!
I'll leave you with that thought.

I'm a bit worried about screwing up the installation, such that I have a car that doesn't go at all!
Is there anyone in / near the Berkshire area that could help me out? I would pay for the time.
hi nic,

Hi Ian
I didn't get an email to say I'd received money and have just checked my account and can't see it there. If you let me know address of the account it was sent from, I will check again.
cheers

I also have installed one of these for a member and had no problems fitting it, you dont need all the parts that it comes with, i am going to order one so when i install mine i will do a write up with some pics, Perhaps i can email it to Nick so he can then include the instructions with the gear knobs?
took about an hour to fit after just figuring it out.
Discount for that Nic?? :D :D :D :innocent:

I've just had mine fitted by the nice people at Phoenix. It looks great!
A word of warning... Pheonix said it was very tricky to fit and that the shifter didn't quite fit the car out of the box, so they had to adapt. I'm glad I didn't attempt it myself now.
