Okey, heres the deal.

My brother just traded his BMW X5 + $$$ for a Porsche 996 Turbo.

And now im not the fastest anymore. :wasnotme:

He got it today, and we haven´t raced yet.

Because i havent put on all my BPU items yet.

Still my car is waiting for the spring to come.

Will be intressting later on.

His Porsche:

996 Turbo

2001 Year Model

Triptronic

420 hp

What do i need to upgrade to , in order to beat his ass ? :sly:

My Supra:

HKS SSQV Kit

HKS 4" Hiper Titanium

HKS EVC 5

Greddy 60mm Boost Meter White Faced

Greddy 60mm E.G.T Meter White Faced

Greddy 60mm A / F Meter White Faced

Greddy BCC

Blitz SUS Kit

RMM Downpipe

I know i need to upgrade to a "Singel Turbo".

And i have no clue what to get, to keep up, or even go faster then him.

Any tips would be nice, so i know what to save up to, till 2007.

Hehe

A picture of his Blue Porsche and a picture of my Black Supra.

Thanks fellas

OKEY

I just got back from the RIDE of my life....

He let me drive it for like 20 min...

Its sooooooooooo fast 0-100

And even when we are doing 100 km and then accelerate to 200, its SICK.

Iv took 2 bad pictures....

Now i REALLY need to get my hands on a Singel Turbo Kit.

I will never keep up with the BPU i can tell you..

Okey the pictures SUCK big time, its really late out here..

But iv NEVER ever driven a Porsche 996 Turbo -01 in my life.

And im only 21 years old, and my brother is 26.

No we are not rich, we just been lucky in trading cars.....

It was so much fun...

Can´t wait till Singel...

Check it out...

Dude bolox is all I'll say. My old motor was pushing out 474 BHP on stock tubbies. You'll be in with a damn good shout if you stick some decent cams in get a decent after market intercooler, maybe some water injection, and a fuel setup to cope with that ie walbro/fse. A boost controller wouldn't go amiss and a set of UK spec injectors and watch that porsche eat some of the back of your car.

By RMM downpipe I assume the cats are out? Have you stuck a restrictor in to prevent overboost? That absolutely slaughters your power if you go above 1.2 bar and doesn't do alot for your turbo's either or for that matter your whole engine. Does any of that HKS kit do the fuel cut defencing?? If not you'll need an FCD. Bigger injectors will need something to fudge the ECU outputs so SAFC will be needed if you go that route.

Wanna really show a clean set of heels, stick that lot above on your car then bang some hybrids on when someone is selling them cheap like they do around here quite often and watch £16k's worth of car boost to 1.5 bar and eat that porsche up (just don't try it in corners as you'll get laughed at lol)

They'll be pushin you out the way if you have the same power as them as they have gotta be lighter. Modern material specs say so. Gearing as well is gonna be more race spec than touring spec. Push 470-500 out and you will beat it. If however you wanna embarass it big style then get your wallet out as a full single setup from where he's at now is not gonna be cheap.

Yes the RMM Downpipe and the HKS 4" Ti, they remove all "cats".

I have a HKS EVC 5 , shouldent that prevent overboost ?

Dosent the greddy BCC do the "fule cut defending" or is it just so i can load more hp ?

Im looking for a FMIC , Greddy 3-row.

I hope i can get like 400-450 hp with all these items.

:D

Atleast, gonna stick with 1.4 bar, when all the parts are on.

I don't understand this comment?

Are you saying restrictor rings are a bad thing and you're better off letting the turbos run wild?
