Ok - have been bpu for a couple of years now but just got the car back from a full service where I had the correct sie restrictor but in, so the car will now hit 1.2 bar where before it was struggling to get 1.0. So to the problem - I have an emanage running a bypass map but in the cold weather I am now getting fuel cut in 5th and 6th gear - I was told that the e manage would remove the fuel cut ? Any help appreciated... Ian C...

An E-Manage can remove fuel cut, no problems. But it's gotta have the numbers plugged into it to do it :)

I have emanange and still get boost cut in 6th, pulling hard in paralell setup. Kind of miffed that Thor didn't get it right first time but since then Ian C has helped melook around the program and there is the abaility tofix it - you just need to know how to do it without blowing up the engine!

BTW Ian C (sorry for the hyjack) - I'm finding it hard to get the old serial port plugged into any laptops - the connector I have (small serial) is stone age. Is there a softwear patch that lets emanage connect via usb/firewire?

I tried to install the firmware update, and the 1.13 update but with no luck it was missing some kind of internal softwear record...

Sounds odd, that software record thing, can you give more explicit details?

I'm unaware of any patch that allows the E-Manage Blue to connect via USB. It's serial or nothing as far as I know but there might be something that converts the serial to USB at the PC end? Something which you plug into the P USB port and stick the Greddy serial lead in the other side of it and it works as a serial port?
