Fitted my Koyo rad today, anyone know how much more coolant it takes ?

Also does it matter which way the tranny cooler has to be mounted, vertical or horizontal or doesn't it matter ?

And thirdly how much extra tranny fluid do I need to buy ?

Cheers

Simon

Keep going till it's 100% full, how much you need is dependent on how much you flushed out of the system...but if the stock system need 9L's for a full flush and the Koyo rad is bigger I'd have bought a 3rd tub of 4Life...

The tranny fluid only goes into the thick pipe running through the cooler...I'd expect you need a litre or 2 depending on how ling the lines are that connect it to the 'box. Toyota T-IV....flush the autobox sump at the same time. So I'd get 5+L of T-IV to fill both..

The orientation shouldn't matter but I'd mount it so the fins are horizontal as that looks normal...if you're mounting it straight on to the wind.
