Okay moving forward from our previous thread I have set up a poll for our first meet in April. Location to be decided at a later date
Where would it be in Wales? It's a big place!
Looking around area's such as Abergevenny and Pontypool but firm location is yet to be decided.

The problem isn't that it is a big place, it's that the roads tend to be a bit twisty. It takes me 3 hours+ to get to Cardiff from mid wales :rolleyes:

I'll be working in Cardiff after Easter (which is by the way 16th) so a Sunday afternoon (23rd) would be of interest to me.

That's true. If you built a decent motorway through all those bloomin hills and flattened it all out a bit it would be MUCH smaller. ;)

Still no where near the size of the Gambia
how about one of the m4 service areas [cardiff gate]thats about an hour on the mway or me .

i think we need to know where everybody is then arrange a venue me :(swansea ) so im nearly central ?
I travel back to Wales on a Sunday from Oxford along the M4 and over the bridge. Need to end up at Merthyr (ish)

I am in the Pontypridd area also, so Cardiff/Newport would be ideal.
I'm in Cardiff....end of April (23rd) so i got the chance to do some things to my baby :sly: ... it's stock at the moment:blink:

we now need a decision on the meet place and the time .ian you started the thread so its down to you. once we get it all sorted maybe we could make it a regular meet .i dont know about everyone else but early afternoon would be good for me .whats everyone else think??? give everyone time to get there .

Fellas it really is down to you where you want the meet I just started the ball rolling as events mod. I happy to meet where ever someone mentioned Cardiff Bay would everyone be happy with that ???
Lets us know when you boys finally decided on where it's going to be. Please let us know and we might pop down in the MR2 or may be the beast of a rover.
Won't be able to make it now, my Cardif job has been scrubbed, but Cardiff Bay is nice, enjoy yourselves.

cardiff is about 40 mins from me , hecklers pmd me , hes probably coming from his parents in carmarthen ,

im in cross hands just off the roundabout about 10mins from swansea junction if hecklers is coming from carmarthen i could meet him at the the roundabout in the elf garage should have my 1st cat removed by then

If you are coming from Swansea you wll take the turning at jnct 33 (I think) where the services are located (those ones after Bridgend). You can then take the dual carriageway in ( A4232) and that will drop you directly into the bay - so to speak. :d

Right then its agreed Cardiff Bay I will be travelling over from work from Hereford after my night shift (see avater) :)
Local guys where on Cardiff Bay and what time as soon as decided will post up on calender and also post in Midlands section to see if we can get a few extra :)

Havnt got a clue about the address tbh mate, I think its Called Atlantic Warf.
BTW they have changed the name to ODEAN from UCI, Its next to Evolution.
