Does anyone know of anywhere cheaper in the south east. Also asked about touch up paint. Which they said cos its an import i have to get the paint made up. Again know anywhere cheap to do this. stevie_b Posted March 14, 2006 Share Posted March 14, 2006 Halfords can make up any colour: it won't be a 100% match (you'll need a pro to apply it to get that), but if you give them the colour code from the VIN plate, they'll knock you up a small bottle of touch up. No need to say anything about imports. £231 sounds a little on the dear side for a cambelt change, too. Went down there on sunday to bung the car on the rolling road recomended by burt, and they said they could do it for £150 + vat which i thought was a good price.
