gaijin Posted March 4, 2006 Share Posted March 4, 2006 Being very new to the Supra(bought from Paul Whiffin,a real cracker-about 400bhp)and i know this isn't quite the weather for it,but is there any way of planting your foot,unless it's compltety dry(have rltc)without going into tail shaking snake waltz?Three times,oh boy. Nic Posted March 4, 2006 Share Posted March 4, 2006 The right suspension set up and good quality tyres at the right pressure, make a huge difference to grip levels. What suspension do you have? If like most Jap imports it is hard sprung and lowered, then this will compromise grip levels a lot when accelarating hard. The right spring rate, damping, sufficient suspension travel and a good quality tyre will help the rear tyres to grip a lot better.
