black cat Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 when iam driving, say in 4th doing 4500 rmp but not really acelerating, the second turbo should be active??? but not doing owt. when i floor it at that moment i get turbo lag i think, is this right?? i thought at first that it would come on as i put my foot down. just want to make sure its nornall and its not my clutch thats screwed. tt steve Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Pete Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 When you're cruising or accelerating very lightly you shouldn't have much boost...but then it shouldn't feel too laggy either. black cat Posted February 27, 2006 Author Share Posted February 27, 2006 it feels like the wheels are spinning and then biteing (there not) then it takes off like a rocket. when iam acelerating through from low revs the 2nd turbo does the job fine. if i had no boost on, sort of de-celeratring at 4500rmp then boot it would i feel a lag then . if not i must have some sort of pressure problem.?? ive felt it before but its more noticable now cos i have more power.
