I am stuck between building a heatshield with the apexi cone filter attached to my current HKS piping enclosed to prevent hot air from being sucked in or trying to go back to the stock airbox. Hi Kev, The Apexi I sold on Ebay a while ago had 2 sets of fittings which bolted onto the Apexi metal pipe. I assumed this was to allow it to fit to non-Apexi hard pipes. They all make the same power 'gains' (13-14bhp) despite the pitiful filtration of some. Those 'gains' are purely from the elimination of the airbox, NOT the 'advanced technology' element.
