Changing from a HKS filter

So does anyone do the Apexi for a UK supra?

Hi Kev,

The Apexi I sold on Ebay a while ago had 2 sets of fittings which bolted onto the Apexi metal pipe. I assumed this was to allow it to fit to non-Apexi hard pipes. Does the HKS pipe finish in a flanged type end with fitting holes?

From memory the Hks is an open pipe with a piece of silicone hose to attach it to the filter.

You'll also notice that Filtration is not inversely proportional to Airflow, as they would like to have you believe.

They all make the same power 'gains' (13-14bhp) despite the pitiful filtration of some.

Those 'gains' are purely from the elimination of the airbox, NOT the 'advanced technology' element.

That very airbox that will stop heatsoak in real-life conditions. ;)
