I know it's been discussed before but i want to know the reasons behind the answers.

So im going to get...

AFR

Boost

EGT

Fuel Pressure

Oil Pressure

But i was also thinking about oil, water and transmission temp gauges. I don't really want to add anymore to the car as that's enough as it is, but are there any that people think i should swop round and if so why??

Intresting, what sort of money to they go for Ro??

I think Terry can get hold of the SPA gauges.

The multi display thing:

Click on 'Dash display systems' on the left hand navigation panel for other similar products.

Demon freeks are well expensive though in general.

Yeah it's your group buy that got me thinking Nic, must say i am liking that Link Display, but will it come with the neccasary sensors??

It comes only with a speed signal wire, to display speed and rpm. Sensor sets (sensor and harness) need to be purchased separately for other readings. I will add these to the group buy thread once I've confirmed prices.

I've got one of those for oil temp and pressure. Very good bit of kit, pretty cheap too. You can get them with a chrome ring (oooerr) and/or blue backlight too. I wouldn't bother with fuel pressure personally though, I'd go for oil temp and pressure.

From my *very limited* knowledge .. I would prefer to know that I'm getting a good fuel feed in, the last thing I want is to be running lean and at least with fuel press it might give you some heads up if there a problem. As far as booting it, I never do untill she's warmed up after a good 10-15 mins.

I hope I haven't made a fool of myself :)

Shaun.

Thing is though, once you've set your fuel pressure (if you have an adjustable pressure reg which you do with a manual gauge) it shouldn't need monitoring IMO. If you have a AFR gauge that would show any problem. If the pump went or something you'd be sure to notice that without needing a gauge!

But surley Gaz when you take a standard engine and start putting strains on it that it wasn't intentially built for you're playing with fire so anything to indicate of an immediate failler will save big bills being paid out.

Your right Simon, i'll have the AFR so i'll see anything wrong on that first.

Nic, im just not a fan of that gauge tbh.
