Hesitation/misfire? Are you running more boost than stock? If so it could be yer spark plugs need a colder grade.

Does this happen at about 110(ish) mph?

If so, then your speed restrictor is still in place (if its a J-spec!)?

Pete Betts will sort you out with a Fuel Cut Defenser

It's easy to tell if it's fuel cut, as the car violently stops accelerating (much worse than a gear change) and the check engine light goes on for a few seconds.

1: If the big red triangle and engine warning light appear along with a large jolt then it's likely to be fuel cut.

2: If it's a progressive slowing down, stuttering then it's likely to be plugs.
Fit NEW and go one grade colder.

3:If it just won't go past 112mph then you have the top speed limiter still and need to remove it.

Email me on peter@trlperformance.com for 1 and 3 resolutions.

2: can be sourced from JPS Motorsport, Torque IC, TDi or yourself directly from a motor fator.
You need NGK 6097 (BKR7E) for example.

Pete

That's exactly what I had last year, I thought it was a 'soft cut' at about 16PSI. After much discussion I got BKR7E's put in to replace the stock platinum 6's and I now hit the 18PSI 'hard cut' red triangle on 'good' days.
