RLTC fitters needed (North only)

I'm in Leeds and will have RLTC soon. I'd like to get some idea of how much it'll cost to fit, how long it'll take etc etc.

Ideally someone who has fitted it before and is confident about doing the work and setting up the software side of things too.

I would be prepared to travel (100 mile radius except where that puts me in the North Sea!).

Anyone?

Martin, the RLTC is relatively easy to fit and can be fitted by any competant motor electrician, just a case of splicing into the correct wires. The RLTC comes with install instructions and Supra wiring diagrams are available on here.

In terms of software, contact Terminator (Phil) he will tailor make you a dat file for your set up, it is then a very easy job to load the dat file onto the RLTC.

Does stock TRAC need disabling or does it work with it?

Without a laptop is it still easy to do. I'm about twenty feet up from the Supra and the same away from it. In terms of having the DAT file tailor made for my set-up, what does that mean exactly? For the way I drive, the type of driving, the car set-up, what? I thought it was the same for each car.

Or for that matter if standard traction control doesn't work would RLTC still function regardless?

i've completely removed the stock TC, ecu, butterfly and switch. which is all easily possible on a manual but will cause problems on an auto.

you have to turn off stock TC at least if you have RLTC otherwise it will work at the same time as RLTC, which you don't want.
