Leather seat backs

This is probably a daft question, but i like to check before i mess around for ages.

I assume the zips in the leather seat backs mean they can be removed ??

Would this allow me to swap passenger and driver covers, as the passenger is not marked like the drivers..

I have a couple of nasty gouges in the leather where i've hopped into the car with a pair of dodgy tracksuit bottoms.. - i was thinking of swapping the covers over so my seat looks good, and the damaged panel is to the inside of the passenger seat..

Has anyone tried that leather repair. filler, respray etc.

Dean..

I have read many posts before about head rests.

But I failed to copy the vital post and can't rememeber the answer the the question.

How do you get the head rests off?

I know several members have had seats retrimmed so they have done it.

Can anyone point me to the old posts or give the method?
