So thought id tart the engine bay up abit. So far I have given the exhaust heat shield a new lease of life!

looks a thousand times better than what it did originally.

 

Now its time for the next part, although I dont know what this is yet....

 

What you lot think?

lol that mag was in the sunday paper :rlol:

 

elbow grease? yes and no - the works buffing wheel came in handy first of all, then polished it up myself with the stuff I use on the polished lip of the wheels.

 

Cheers, just gotta get the damn thing back on now - removed it with out taking the big air pipe off, it just managed to slide down. Reckon I'll remove it when refitting this as I dont want to scuff my hard work :D

Make sure you get a good heat resistant polsih on it as once its refitted it rusts very quickly, trust me i know from experience :drown:

 

What do you do for a living ?

 

I was thinking of getting a high temp resistance laquer or something and givving it a spray, what do you think?

 

Work on engine build/strip at Rolls Royce.
