If anyone has received any private messages, concerning any of the parts or prices I have published, I would be very interested in knowing ;)

Mawby, don't you have access to the database? surely you could look at the stuff through phpMyAdmin, or something similar, and trace back the PM's???

Mawby, don't you have access to the database? surely you could look at the stuff through phpMyAdmin, or something similar, and trace back the PM's???That's not what Paul said. He was insinuating that the moderators have a one-click access to read your PMs, which they do not. You are right that both myself and Keith (being the only two with root access to the server) could get access to the PMs via direct SQL queries to the database. (We don't have anything like phpAdMin installed) However, we both have much more important things to do than wasting our time trying to read PMs, despite what people like Paul might think.
There has only been one time we have needed access to someone’s PMs, and that was when we were approached regarding potential legal proceedings against that person. However, we simply reset their password and logged in as them. A much easier approach and also meant they couldn't log in and try to delete the evidence.

Err...no I was to INSINUATING anything...I merely stated that you would be able to check...which now you say you can...
Whether you have the time / inclination etc is up to you...
I think you read in something that was not there...
What does it matter?
Yes Ive had customer quote other peoples prices to me? Big deal. YOu either beat it or you dont. Im sure they are after the best deal all round. Some you wint some you loose. I can't compete with your prices Nic, nor yours Paul E.
Ill be happy to share my prices with anyone. Why all the secercy?
oops, apologies Mawby, I wasn't trying to stir anything, just was trying to highlight the ability too track people's attempt to hack the BB.
At the end of the day if people think/know you can trace them - there much less likely to try hacking the system - hence my comment.
No harm intended - Neal.
