DShox
hi today i attempted to change my front shocks but seen as i got up so late i decided to paint the front calipers instead - fine. only one problem - i went to put my alloys back on and put one down metal side down onto the driveway. now i have marked my newly refurbished alloy and feel gutted. anyone know how to do a quick easy repair? - the marks are superficial only and havent taken any chunks out. thanks, D

Nic
If they were lacquered then it will be difficult, if not then use something like autosol to polish out the scratches.
Pete
If it makes you feel any better I've done exactly the same thing twice before. I now make sure that I always lean then securely against something solid.
DShox
thanks makes me feel a little better. thing is - nothing will touch em for years now - it just happens moments after you shell out. i dont get it. Nic - its a powder coat finish and its sort of chipped up the anthracite finish...any fix for this? Ta
Pig
Best to bite the bullet and get the one redone. Otherwise you will subconciously be wanting to kerb them!
Daston
Well I lent one up for 10 secs while I was getting the bolts and the wind knocked it over and left a load of chips over the front of it
