CAT replacement pipe

hi just started tuning my supra

got the following

BLITZ nurspec cat back exhaust system

BLITZ super sound dump valve

BLITZ induction kit

and i sent for the BLITZ cat replacement pipe

it is from dragon autosports  i am sure it is not a Blitz part

it is stainless steel

got it fitted yesterday and what a differance it has made to speed

the revs go up very fast

it is running a bit lumpy on idle

the tick over revs are very low

can anyone give me advice about tuning

i got told you can not remove the downpipe cat as you get what is called creeping boost

i have seen a HKS external wastegate it says it cures 99% of the creeping boost

also

my cat replacement pipe some times feels like it is vibrating

when you hold front brake and have car in Drive on my auto box

any help on where to go next or any info

thanks for any help

hi thanks for reply

i have read about them on the net (FCD)

it is all new to me still but enjoy learning

do you know what is involved in installing one

what mods have you done to your car?

i would not think a pipe could make so much difference in power

i have a mate who has a NISSAN skyline r33 GTR that is rapid he has NOS too

dont think i would go that far on my supra

would be happy with 500 hp

not much would beat you :)

just started getting into dragging

and want to get all help i can get with a boost controller

want the new BLITZ version and the power meter add on

thanks for any replys

500 BHP will cost you quite a fair few quid.

If I recall correctly the Blitz downpipe only removes one cat so I wouldn't of though you would have suffered from boost creep.

As for the vibration, I would be inclinced to get the fitting checked out by Dragon.

regards......................
