Quick coolant/sensor question

Hi all,

If I was to change the coolant sensor would I need to drain the coolant or can I just swap the sensors over? Would i need to reset the ECU afterwards too?

Could do with knowing asap please.

Just take it out and put the new one in, you should only lose a little coolant and then top it up if necessary.

No need to reset ECU.

Sorry to bring this back but where is the temp sensor on the na? I saw a toyota diagram that its on the right side of the engine but can't see it.
