Howdo
When i was reattaching my front splitter (again) the other day noticed my front shocks were leaking, so what do you reccomend, not really fussed about rock hard handling, something still quite smooth would be nice but also slightly better for handling. I cant afford them yet so just an idea of prices for now, so i know how many old ladies i need to mug :)
Cheers
Chris
KYB's have been recommended before i think. or you could just go with the yellow bilsteins that were an original option? (jspec)
never been in a car with optional extra's, cant imagine them giving much imporvement in halding? will do a search for kyb's cheers for reply :)

Ive had both Chris ... KYB's were a harder ride. Got billies on atm and they a good compromise between comfort and cornering
Thought you had tein on dale?
Have you still got your's ?

Hi Chris,
Sorry for not getting back earlier Chris.
Billies are a good all round setup but they are expensive for just "shocks", they are £110 + VAT each IIRC.
The cheapest Tein setup is £658 which is a bargain for what you get. I know Dale had a prob with his but out of the 100+ kits we sold, its the only one thats went back.
Gaz.
What other options (with prices) are there apart from Teins Gaz? How do the Espelier etc compare for better handling (than the UK set up) without giving a teeth bashing ride? Bit of a lowering drop would be nice too :innocent:

My favourite combo would be the Bilsteins and the Espilirs. Sporty, agile yet comfortable.
Yet the cost would be more than the Teins.
Gaz.
Cheers Gaz, the billies probably sound the most appealing to me to be honest, i dont really want a harsh ride supra is meant to be smooth aswell as fast :) Have you heard much about LEDA coilovers, i was reccomended these by somone aswell, do you do them?

LEDA are good yeah, race orientated though. And expensive.
Gaz.
Probably a bit harsh then would you say gaz? not particularly fussed abou tthe price to be honest i just want nice ride quality, so going off that you would reccomend the billies and Espilirs, how much would it be for that setup? pm if you like im easy :p
oh and does it lower the car much?

Possibly, although I have not had personal experience of the LEDA coilovers on the Supra.
That setup would be £517 for the Bilsteins and £245 for the Espilirs. We have the springs in stock, I can make enquiries about the lead time of the Bilsteins.
Regards,
Gaz.
Please gaz if you can see how long, though i think it may be a month or so before im ready to buy, how much lower?
