Quick question about coolant colour

While trying to narrow down my problem from This Thread I was wondering if afew N/A people could check their coolant colour for me whenever they get time.

Mine is a dark brown colour which I think means either oil is getting in the water system (head gasket?) or it just hasnt been changed for awhile and is from circulating the system constantly.

I really hope this is nothing major :scare:

Cheers

So is mine......welcome to the gang

Nothing to worry about, as long as you aint got white bits floating about, lots of rusty bits then you're OK.

Edit...then again, could be your 4life has seen better days and you need a full coolant flush but hard to say without knowing what coolant was used last. Have a search for "coolant colour" and you'll find a few more threads on the topic.
