:p Managed to change the coolant and the auto oil without any problems today. Drained about 7 liters from the drip tap on the rad. Reached it from above- just reached down past the top rad pipe- desroyed the skin on my arm but worth it

Little tip- if you can't get to the block drain tap to remove all the coolant -like me- then jack the car up 1st on one side then the other and watch the extra coolant flow out of the rad tap. Filled it up with Toyota Red and every thing was as it should be.

Drained out the auto oil about 2 liters came out. did it without a ramp or pit just jacked it up slightly. I read somewhere that a full drain is not good idea so happy to stick with what the Service schedule states. The fluid was Toyota type IV and yes this is what is recommended on the back of the can for any transmission that required the older typeII- Total cost £65
