04-08-06, 15:36
Hi Guys
To give you an idea on costings for mapping and a list of ECUs that can be done are:
Time Cost
Emanage Blue- 3hrs £195 + VAT
AEM - 4.5 hrs £337.5 + VAT
Gold V Pro - 9.5 hrs £692.50 + VAT
These are just examples and do depend on your requirements for example the AEM would be extra for launch control, traction ect.
These estimates also depend on set up and wheither your unit is piggy back or stand alone.
We would also recommend an oil service on the car before mapping.
As I have said these are just estimates to give you an example on what we can do.
Regards
Sam
How much would it be to set-up an SAFC2?

there's some great prices there Sam. Its nice to have an alternative to Thor. If he is able to tune my PHR MapECU, i'll definitely be up to you for a mapping session. Its only a basic piggy back which is pretty much an SAFC for UK specs

05-08-06, 00:30
Dan the man, I wonder who that is! :D
Good to see someone offering Vpro mapping for a decent price though...
Gaz.
Is it possible that a price list for the various kits/options is going to be published?
I'd be very interested in the various kits on offer: e.g. XS power T61/T70, etc kits, plus other parts that are available separately like the manifold, wastegate, piping...
Also, would be interested in prices for basic services that can be offered such as adapted XS power manifolds (cleaned up and adapted flange so they can take a larger turbo), and basic turbo install costs.
If that’s not your aim then fair enough, but if you don't ask... ;)
I agree, would like to see the prices for the T70 single conversion.
:D
I just wanted to say a massive thanks to Greg for helping me out with an oil feed return connector that I was really stuck with, well above the call of duty! Superb customer service!!!

Hello sam/greg
how was the trip get back ok????
would you bloody belive it i flew out on American and got stuck down the sodding back not happy at all,am still stuckin the states for another 2 1/2 weeks seriously had enough but ordered my toys from dusty should have them end off next week:d
see you in January:cool:
say hi to the lads for me
sorry for posting here stil waiting for the mods to pull there fingers out and restore my pms:p
Welcome.
[Do you do work on FTO's??] :D
Funny you should say that.... They can now offer AEM stand alone ECUs for FTOs! Comes in handy if you want to turbo it and chase some Supra's! Haha
So what was the big news a few weeks back?? That was so secretive...
Any chance of a ballpark figure for a single turbo kit installation guys?
No electronics/fuelling/setup - just the mechanicals of removing the twins and fitting a PHR/BL single turbo kit.
Cheers
Dan
They dont post much on the forum, your better of calling 01908 614971
I'm going down on friday to get a apexi fitted and mapped and will be asking how much it costs to go single and what kits they do
It seems to be that the strength of the W58 can be improved by changing some parts. Do you sell these items as a package as well?
Just wanted to say a big thanks to all the guys (and the lovely Sam!) for being so hospitable today :)
I only went down for something quite minor, and it was the first time I have been down. The guys filled me up with coffee and were more than happy to chat about some of the work going on. Seen Gamer's gutted engine bay and head, the gorgeous 'aubergine' TRD kitted beast (sorry, forget the owners user name!), and even witnessed a 4-letter tirade at Jonty's dodgy gearbox :D
I even got a great quote from Albert (of Knight Racer) to respray my front bumper.
Sorry I had to dash btw, I had the boss trying to call me! Thanks a bunch Sam and everyone.
P.S. I got a good oggle at Greg's project - WOW!!! That is gonna be some beasty!

This was Jay's Gearbox not Jonty's poor old boy will have a fit if he thought we were taking his apart:d
Jay's box was stuck fast buy the release bearring a combination of two much power and heat, box is now at Ralph's and should be back in the next day or so all modded up with hardened parts.:)

See you at the meet later in april:d
Turbofit, how much do you charge to map a NA-T (boostlogic stage 1) with a SAFC neo?
Hello guys.
How much for good quality n/a-t kit FITTED (including piggy back, custom ecu... head gasket, intercooler, clutch, bov etc...) My goal is +400 BHP at flywheel (1.1-1.2 bar).

Tomasz

Hello Sam.
I still didn't receive email from you guys. :( Wakey-wakey , today is Tuesday. ;)

Not sure if this is the right place for this but I don't see a Turbofit section.
I had my exhaust done yesterday and big thanks is due to Turbofit. Greg took a lot of time to discuss various things with me despite obviously being very busy. These weren't anything to do with the exhaust work that I was paying for and he must have spent half an hour giving me pointers on my current electrical and other problems. This was very much appreciated.
You know that feeling that you get in some places that they don't really care and just want you out as quickly as possible? My experience at Turbofit yesterday was the complete opposite.
I know where I'll be going to get any work done from now on.

Greg,
When I pick up my car from Knight-Racer in the next few weeks after the skirts are fitted I would like to chat to you and Sam about engine work. If you pass my car while in the garage ask Joe or Albert to pop the hood and take a look.
You'll find nothing. Its up to you to fill it ;)
NA/T / TT lump / 6sp box swap. Needing guidance please :(
nice to finally meet sam & greg and all the turbofit boys.
its nice to finally have a exhaust on, its getting louder,

and it wasnt welded to the chasis, its the rear subframe (lateral bracket)
just need to think of something to hide part of the chassis sticking out.
In my opinion youll still have potential problems with the edge of the exhaust bracket wearing through the exhaust rubber as arrowed.
