Essex meet: Jan 14th Sat night.
Cars meet at Birchanger roundabout at...not sure what time.
Then we convoy 15-20 mins down the road to FREEPORT (Braintree)
Lots of bars there so go for a drink then back to the cars.

Could be persuaded to get my two out and about some time soon. Like the idea of venturing more northwards away from Southend though. Be nice to go somewhere different.

No worries, next time i expect to be told about the engagement,....presume there wont be a next time though. Really pleased for you both.
Had a prob, turned our to be the blow off valve/aculator. To find this out had to get down to the turbos so changed them for second hand hybrids which (i think, not def. yet) blew on the test run) so i am with out a car again, been without it for 2 weeks. Maybe attending the meet with my polo.

Just bear in mind that Braintree has a shed load of undercover cop cars so we'll have to be good, or just not get caught.

Well, I dont think we'll have any trouble - just a word of warning that they seem to be alot more hot around Freeport than they are anywhere else I go.
Have you really not found that?
I dont see it as a problem because we dont tend to mess about at all.

from colchester go down the a12 to markstey. come off there onto the a120 to braintree. then follow the signs for freeport.

3.Closer Freeport (NOTE ! you have to go up to the 'Cressing Lodge'
roundabout, then turn right, go to the next roundabout and turn right,
then you're on the road driving along the side of Freeport........

Just got home. Thanks to everyone that came, it was really good meeting everyone! Shame that the drive over could not be more fun, but lets face it, we all had our mature boots on with the weather the way it is. Well most of us, some of us just couldnt get traction ;)
