Speedo Dial

Ok currently my speedo reads up to 300 and is in mph now obviously. Any genius can realise that I will never reach this speed without jet engines strapped to me.

So what I want is to convert this to a decent mph and have seen one on ebay for 15 squid which goes up to 180mph. Now 15 squid ain't alot but is there a way I could make my own and still have it light up correctly? My idea consists of scanning a normal one and modding it on the computer, then printing it out in high res on photo paper. This should achieve a decent look but the lighting of the dial has me worried as its backlit.

Guru, do you mean it has '320 kmph' clock?? That'll be the TRD one. Yes - the face can be changed so it goes upto 220 mph. Thor can get you a Stainless steel face. Mines was used as the prototype!

I am just after something that is more realistic to my car's capabilities and something that will be easier to manage speed in lol. The scale of 0-300 is a tad annoying at times :(
