what does this connection do

help guys what does this connection do and how important is it, it is the smaller of the two connections that screws into the rad pipe that goes into the block

Your kidding right? ....Picture of a grey one pin plug and then a picture of a grey one pin sensor that is within range and your asking where it goes! You just gave yourself your own clue man.

Heres a clue ...how can you tell if an engine is warm ?

i guess i should,have oil temp but really should have water temp too

Water temp is something the ECU relies on for a few fuelling strategies, so yeah :) You should have a phat fault code logged by now too :thumbs:
