View Full Version : Spec me up! BL 61/67 Single turbo for VVTi
Bare in mind that my VVTi is virtually standard, being stage 1 with uprated fuel pump, FSE regulator, and decatted with RSR exhaust.. they will all need to be ripped out if i go for the BL Single route anyway.
So with that in mind, i will need the following but no idea what brand or spec i will need...
Front mounted intercooler
Injectors
Resistor pack
Spark plugs
Fuel rail
Fcon (to replace existing ECU)
Boost logic 61 or 67 Kit..
upgrade Jspec brakes
Have i missed anything? other than remortgage my property? :D

The ECU is £2k+ mapped. Don't go cheaper than that.
Fuel rail doesn't need changing nor do you need a resistor pack.
FMIC £900
Injectors £600 cleaned and tested. 650cc should do.
Turbo Kit - Whatever Terry quotes you ;)
Brakes - UK's £1k
Spark Plugs - £12 (BKR7E's)

With those 650's - why would you need an FPR ?
Correct me if I'm wrong but, as far as I understand, those 650's are quite capable of squirting enough fuel for T61/T67 @ 1.4Bar
What the duty cycle would be .. I don't know - but JohnK's is running 1.3 Bar on a T61 with 550's, stock FPR and his duty cycle IIRC (he told me once) was 90% .. I think.
think there are a few bits missing on the F-con front too!
