Guest tommy g
Is there a quick and easy way to swap out these tight space engines? is it best to pull engine alone or with the tranny as well? Can the car stay low,or raised up on blocks to be under the unit as well? helpful tips would be a great Christmas gift thanks tommy g:tomato:
Jake
1989? That'll be a MKIII won't it? I did my MKIV by pulling the engine gearbox and wiring loom out complete. It was quite straightforward. With the front raised BTW
whitesupratt
iv done a Mk III before a few times, leave the engine and transmission attached, have the car on a ramp, and raise the car upwards, leaving your engine/transmission on the ground! whitesupratt
or on a pallet or similar etc! Its a case of the the car going up and down a few time to disconnect everything! but once you're left with just the mounts, do the above!
