Simon, is that the tamiya tl/01 chassis?

ive got the castrol toms supe. so much fun they're great, just fitted a metal race bearing kit, upgraded the motor/speed controller etc. Getting it to drift/slide is easy, cotrolling it is a different matter! My shell is absolutely battered.

Also had a head on collision with my mates evo and both my drive shafts snapped, ooops! Little cheaper than the real thing though, £2.90 for 2 driveshafts :D

Great fun the are.

Awesome vid too, wish i was that good!

Got mine off ebay with all the uprated parts and transmitter etc for £68 inc delivery fully boxed. Which tbh was a bargain, i was watching afew and the others went for over £80.

They are vertually indistructable too, mines been off 4 foot ramps and all sorts, crashes etc and only little things break but all replaceable (see my earlier post on the drive shafts).

There pretty similar to normal cars as far as modding wise goes too. All the internals can be uprated, hundreds of different alloys in various colours etc etc too.

Heres the 2 things i have bought:

Castrol Toms Purchase

Second shell purchase

Mine will do at least 40mph now, its just finding a car park big enough to controll it lol
