Chris Wilson Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 No, all aftermarket (bigger, not just hybrid) turbos ran in parallel mode. Have yet to see any bigger as in bigger exhaust housing turbos running sequentially on a MKIV. it's possible, not quite rocket science, but would be fiendishly expensive and tricky to set up to be just right. I would think the stock manifold would pose an immediate problem as the runner cross section is so small, fine for high gas speeds to small (stock) turbos, but an immediate restriction when going bigger or the turbine side. Not hard, it's labour intensive, and going to cost you....then you have to make the system work sequentially...which isn't straight forward.
