Potential Problem...

Hey folks, I've just noticed something the last couple of days. When driving very slowly, turning on full lock, either way (doing a 3 point turn for example), my wheels make a funny sound like they are rubbing against something, it almost sounds like I'm going over small bumps in the road. I've not noticed this before, not sure whether it's just something I've just simply - not noticed before! I'm running 18" rims which are obviously bigger than standard so could this be the reason - rubbing against arches perhaps? Anyone else have this issue?

It's just the front tyres scrubbing across the ground before they rotate as they are pushed from behind, nothing to worry about. It's just the results of having wide front tyres and the Supras normal suspension set up with a bit of negative camber. All Supras will do it to some extent.

Hmmm, possibly. Not sure how though, maybe the suspension sits slightly lower when it gets very cold? Not sure how though, is this possible? Seems strange we have both had this problem in the last few days when it's REALLY cold!

Your suspension will be higher in the cold and lower in the warm weather due to the springs being softer due to the heat :nyah:
