What you need is a couple of small silica gel bags, you used to get them with quality camera equipment, in with the packaging to stop moisture building up in the box when in storage before sale. Seen it with other products as well, shoes even.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen any products with these little sachets inc recently.

If you do find some, tie a thread to one, take a bulb out and put it in through the hole, the thread is so you can pull it back out obviously, just make sure its tied on tight, when its in there put the bulb holder back in so the silica gel only has a limited supply of air to dehumidify.

If the little bags get "saturated" just put them on a baking tray in the oven on a LOW heat for a while to dry them out.

I've found that just removing the main beam bulb for a day or two helps.

The heat from the lights and engine drive the moisture away. Provided you put the bulb in while things are still warm it stays away for quite a while.

One of these days I'll reseal the light and stop it permanently though!
