Stock tweeters?

Ok, there are mesh panels on the dash for the stock tweeters....are there actually tweeters under there? or was this an option only on top spec models?

I am stripping out the crappy toyota speakers in a couple of weeks and wondered how they are all wired at the moment. Are there any crossovers built in to the car somwhere already? I think the amp is gone, put my hand under the passenger seat and felt carpet.

Yes there are tweeters. There aren't any crossovers as such, the tweeters have in-line filters presumably. The amp was optional, not all cars had it in the first place.
