[Urgent help required] Removing starter motor on SZ

Hi every one

I have been having problems starting the Supra for tha last couple of weeks (ya know the clik clik cliking noise) got a new battery from Halfords, still the same problem. So now I am thinking about removing the starter motor, and taking it to Lucas to be fixed. Only thing is I can remove the two long bolts keeping it in place, but there is a wire attached to the back of the unit and I am not to sure what to do. Do the wires unplug? if so where do they unplug from? or do I pull the motor out or the metal casing? I need to do this myself as the motor will not start now and is stuck on my drive. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

P.S. Bear in mind that this is on a SZ Supra so may be a different set up than on a TT. :help:

Thanks for the fast reply.

At the moment been doing all the work from above the engine and can only make out one large wire going into the unit. Am I going to need to jack the car to carry out the job?
