Really Annoying Rattle/Squeak

I am starting to get fed-up with this noise I have. I herd it in my mates Supra too but since it was his and I didn't drive it much it didn't really bother me!! In dry weather I get a really loud creak/squeak from the rear end, once the car is wet it goes. I have treated the boot rubbers with a paste that we use at work for convertible roof squeaks and that has made no difference at all.

Is it a comon noise and if so what the hell is it??????

How do I cure it???

My Soop does it too. It seems to stop when I've got a boot full though and I can go some trips without it ever happening. Nothing a couple of turns on the volume knob wont fix though.

Had all the boot trims and tool kit stuff out and it still does it. It isn't the boot rubber as I have treated that with a soft-top paste that cures stuff like that on our cars at work, and trust me we have some of the most picky customers in the world!!!!!!!!!!! (Mercedes Benz)

Dunno, I had mine wrapped in padding and soaked in rubber rejuvenator and they still creaked.

When people on here say boot rubbers they mean the 2 black rubber blocks that are sat either side of the boot lid mind,A mistake that I made when I bought some off of Lovatt,It did sort the problem squeek out but wasnt what I thought it was doing it!
