Gonna get round to doing my whole interior colour coded blue, which includes a new steering wheel, HOWEVER, i have never done this before so don't know what it entails! Do i need anything else to fit one? Are there certain ones that fit Supras? Is it easy? How do I fit it??????? So many questions! Sorry for my stupidity, I've never done it before!!!!! :badidea:

Hi mate

Yes relatively easy to do - as long as you dont have airbag (which by your sig i assume you dont)

You need the new steering wheel and the corect 'boss' fitting kit) to attach it to the column - most are 6 hole and work with a Momo boss kit - but beware you dont buy a MkIII Supra boss kit as these do not fit

Choose you Steering wheel first

If you like momo check this guy out!

Like momo but not branded....hence a lot cheaper!

He tells me the quality is the same as momo but I can't comment as mine is still in the post.
He also sells Boss kits for £10!!

Check out his ebay shop for different designs.

Crikey that IS cheap! Not sure I could trust the quality being the same as Momo though. Unfortunately there are no blue ones too, really after one with some blue on. Interesting though!

Gutted! I remember getting something for the Astra I had (yeah I know, it's a Vauxhall blah blah blah....) last year a month before Xmas, but my folks let me fit it before! Oh yeah, I wrote it off on the 24th January, guess I cursed it by not waiting til Xmas day!!!

code is OT-48 (T-17)

At first glance mine wouldn't fit either due to the horn plug, at the bottom of the boss is a copper plate, I just took that off and it fitted fine, job was a good un!

where is the horn plug on an n/a? is it at the 12 o clock position and about 20mm by 10mm?

That's the one, the new boss kit had the copper plate at the bottom of it and this made contact with the horn plug. the copper plate is just a flimsy bit of the kit and actually just pulled off, to me it was just for making a contact for the horn so no loss there.

I've got to pull the thing back off tomorrow to tighten everything up, could take a couple of pics if it helps?

oh

I fitted mine 2 days ago, didn't take any pic, if I came across this thread before hand I would have took some pic, by the way that boss kit in the pic on last page, thats the same one i got, all I did was trimmed down the plastic plug and it fitted well and good. everything working fine.

Hi

I managed to pick up a momo millienium wheel for £85....is that a good bargain? I hope so i thought it was worth £175...It was more or less brand new and boxed to.
