i have recently discovered that my drivers side front brake calliper has a series of cracks on the rear and after cleaning it up it leaks quite badly making the car undriveable.
the buyer of my car has a new set of brakes he intends on fitting but he needs to drive the car a fair old distance to get it home. when i told him about the problem yesterday he asked if it was possible to fit a cheap set of j spec brakes to the front of the car so he can get it home.
there seems to be a fair few j spec brake sets for sale at the moment after a series of upgrades. would the downgrade be as simple as the upgrade or is there something that prevents you from doing this?
any help or advice would be very greatfully recieved
