Have had my plate for two and a half years, It's incorrectly spaced and I have a small number plate at the front.

Have only been stopped once about a year ago when i had it on my MR2 , and thats because i didn't let the copper out at a junction. he followed me for about 5 mins through town and eventually stopped me. he even got a ruler out and measured the gaps between the letters! Ba*!#rd!

Also if you're spotted by an auto-tax check camera thingy it'll go mad at the controller that it can't read the plate and you'll definitely be pulled then!!

Not so sure about this... I've driven through one of these with Francis where there were plenty of police and nothing happened.

Also, a private estate near me has a camera that registers your numberplate and flashes it up at you and it never had a problem reading mine. Although it did correct the spacing!

You may get pulled if unlucky. I have no front plate and a rear plate where the top row doesn't display (Its one of those 'standard' sized square plates from halfords). Dispite driving past 100+ traffic cars I've only been pulled once in 10 months: got a retification notice once and no fine. that was 4 months ago and the same PO haven't bothered me since!

I was thinking because it will be pretty noticable because of 4 characters at the end rather than the standard 3, plates ordered now from fancyplates so I will just have to see...

Anyone know how long it usually takes for fancyplates to deliver?
