Hello guys (or chaps as you might call it),

My name is Justin and I'm a new member here. I'm from the U.S. so bear with me! It's fun seeing what's goin on in the other side of the world and I thought that I should pop by. I had a Supra, sold it and am now working on my new project; the Lexus SC300 or as you guys might know it; the Soarer. So that's it as far as my intro goes. I hope to have a good time here. Take Care!

So far all I have done to it is:

'97 Supra USDM TT Polished Wheels

'97 Supra USDM TT Sway Bars

I just bought a 5-speed conversion and will do a write up on the install.

..and don't you forget it cowboy!

Good one chap! ;) I'm from Chicago; the cowboys are down south near Texas. Up here we're either called "homies" or "dawgs"; lol! Thanks for the welcome and compliments.

Hi Justin, welcome aboard :grouphug: .howz Chicago these days?

It's known as the windy city for a reason; and its cold as balls!

As far as plans go, I have so many routes.

1.) VVT-i Head/stock block, NA-T setup, 5-speed swap 350-400 rwhp

cheapest solution and would cost around 4-5 grand

2.) VVT-i Head/TTblock, single turbo, 6-speed swap 500-600 rwhp

little more pricey; would cost around 9-10 grand

4.) Complete TT longblock fully built, single turbo, 6-speed 700+whp

priciest depending on how speed hungry I'll get; this will definitely be 10- 30 grand at least.

So far the only the realistic is option 1 with a little bit of option 2. I already bought the 5-speed swap out of an earlier model Soarer. The '98+ USDM Soarer didn't come with a 5-speed and instead came with a VVT-i motor non-turbo auto of course. I'll keep you guys updated
