Difference between Pre-facelift & Facelift 17" Alloys

Hi,

Does anyone know the difference between pre-facelift & facelift 17” stock alloys? Apart from the centre hub design?

Apparently the facelift wheel has a slightly different design, can anyone tell the difference just by looking at pics?

I’ve seen both wheels in photos but apart from the plastic centre hub I really can’t see any difference

Is this a 96+ facelift wheel?

Certainly looks the same as:

Many thanks in advance

As far as I was aware only the centres changed? Perhaps the source that told you the facelift wheel design was different can enlighten us both?

Not heard that before, which holes? To get a set of wheels designed and manufactured cant be cheap so I would have thought they would have continued with the same design and just stuck the different centres in, but then the facelift models did have quite a few new bits on them. I put what I believed to be facelift and normal wheels side by side and could see no difference but then I have no way of knowing if the facelifts were infact facelifts..
