I know it must be painfully simple for most of you but im not sure when I got to the wires at the back going through the body work, do they need hacking? Thanks. Lazarus Posted October 19, 2005 Share Posted October 19, 2005 If you remove the piece of plastic trim that runs along the back of the boot you will see that those cables go into a couple of small plugs (one each side). Simply unplug and remove the old lamps complete with cables. Fitting is the reversal of removal. However you may have a problem with your "lamp out" warning sensor but you'll have to do some more reseach on that, I didn't have a problem so didn't need to look into it. Getrag Posted October 19, 2005 Author Share Posted October 19, 2005 I got all the trim off and the lights unbolted easily. However, the wire that leaves the light goes through the body work then connects to its connector. By looking at it, the connecter looked too big to bring back through the hole (for the wires) in the body work.
