Soonto_HAS_soop
Anybody out there really good with electronics? I would PM heckler but I'm not 100% sure on his access to the web in Ul Aldeed (SP) or wherever he is. Anyway, I've just done the clear rear indicator mod, and I replaced the indicator bulbs with LED clusters, which work really well regarding brightness etc. Only issues is, when using the warning lights, they flash fine, but when using the indicators (i.e. indiviual sids) they obviously draw less power and make my idicators flash like crazy, anyone suggest something to stop this? I though of using resistors in line with the return or something, but that is the limit of my knowledge. Anyone able to help?
Bob
Resistors hould do the trick, I think Rob at http://www.ultraleds.co.uk sells something suitable, if you email him I'm sure he'll be able to help.
Chase
I had the same problem when I changed my fronts. Bought some resistors from Maplin. I'll try and find the thread...
Digsy
I think I helped you out a bit didn't I, Chase? You need some high power jobbies to soak up the amps and make the flasher unit think you have normal filament bulbs fitted.
