Spot on Matt, she's never really liked it despite me being able 'to get whatever I want' once she got her car.. She was pushing for a Honda S2000 or Saab convertable, but I've got past that hurdle. Jag XK8 (or XKR) is top of her list, and high up on mine, very good for the commuting side, but not too high on the grin factor.

Still, I've had the Surpa for nearly 2 years and it's still getting better (just got the wheels on and a new exhaust), so I think I'll have it for some time to come yet :)

There are two car parks

The main one surrounding the hotel we have tried to allocate as per advised / expected numbers so that specific marques can be together

Once this area is filled – there is a secondary car park for overflow and general use

Main Car Park (300 spaces)

Zone 1 – Hotel Use / Lexus Exhibitor cars

Zone 2 – Hotel Use

Zone 3 – 12 spaces – Mitsi /
Zone 4 – 30 spaces – Mazda

Zone 5 – 10 spaces - Honda
Zone 6 – 6 spaces - Honda

Zone 7 – 5 spaces – Airspeed
Zone 8 – 8 spaces - Exhibitors

Hah I did the same! I'd washed it and had just finished cutting the bonnet to try and get rid of some of the swirl marks when it started raining. It only lasted about 10 minutes and then was sunny again. So I went back out dried the car off and polished it. Got some very strange looks from the neighbours!

No sooner had I finished, it started absolutely pissing it down :(

Yeah I had a nice day too, nice to see a few of you again. Got left behind while I was buying some redbull in south mimms, think they were all scared of me hehe

Had a great drive with Steve W on the way back, very fun

Got beaten by a motorbike which sucked but I did have a porky passanger hehe and mr motorbike gave me a wave too, so all's fair in love and war :D

Was taking it easy for a bit on the m4 as I decided I wanted some petrol left when I saw a 190mph flying Oranage go zooming past, scared the hell out of us all! Lovely colour though Leon :D

All in all a good day, glad Ali didn't make it as he'd of only laughed at my missing skirt :D

Video maybe on the way if I can work out a way to get my divx's smaller! :D

Leon and myself were going at a fair rate most of the way back but I had the radar detector so I wasnt worried..until I noticed I had unplugged it. Luckily enough it was back on before we hit the variable speed limits up to the M40, you all know they are running live cameras on the M4 to M40 stretch of the M25 now?

Most people behaved, apart from a few I noticed about 3:30pm (on my way to the DuMP), were racing each other up and down the 40mph dual carriageway,

Someone bought along a cheap orange one - seemed to think he knew a thing or two about Supras - bloody newbie upstart!! :p

Numbers by 14.30 were 375 cars - and then they stopped counting - so well chuffed that it was well attended

Some nice motors inc GTR's and Nissan Primeras! Good MR2 showing

Dude managed to get Fisherjohn's second turbo problem sorted - result...but not his own yet!:(

It was good to see John working for a change, although he was trying to steal the GF's fags at one point, tut, tut, you've quit.

And Paul maybe you should go buy yourself a descent battery, so it wont go flat and then embaress (Spelt ?) the Supras by having to jump it, and buy some jump leads as well save you having a dig about my broken set, cheek of it, still he is old !!!!!!

Have you seen the Type R outside Kings road take away in South Ham, have been chatting to the young lad that owns it, Dan or Danny is his name. You might have seen it, as its got Apexi down the wing and onto the bonnet, he's got some Apexi AFC on the dash as well. Seems to know a lot regarding the Jap scene.

Well at least the only Supra that made it in those photos was my little remote controlled version, great little pretrol version he had, a few people wanted a drag race between them, but I have seen how quick those little petrol ones can go, some young kid round my way has one, made me look stupid !!!!!! :(

I saw them appear beside me and didnt recognise it as a car from Mimms so assumed they had caught up with us. Saw them come off at 18 and realised it wasnt one of us, just some random supra. The blonde certainly had a good look at the cars, must have been a shock to find 15 jap motors all around them.

I also didnt realise the Cossie was with us, I tried to race him coming on to the m25 at Mimms but he wouldnt play.

I followed him for a bit but the smog was too much and i had to overtake...

I think he booted it off from one of the civic's and then got overtaken again quite quickly so he decided not to play...

I managed to drive the whole way home on my own without a single sniff of action.... How depressing !

Steve, what is your camera....

It's a Canon PowerShot G2.

ANY 4 MegaPixel Camera takes 'em that BIG.

ANY 'decent-make' 4Meg will take 'em that CLEAR
(the better lenses DO make a difference - I've tried !)

the only thing with the G2 is it's fairly small but has most of the
'control' features of one of the bigger Digi-Cameras =
manual aperture/exposure etc and it can take RAW files
( RAW are, as the name suggests, 'RAW' data files which contain
FAR MORE information than the normal photo files... ie TIF/BMP/
JPG.... only the best cameras take RAW files........
UNFORTUNATELY, RAW files then have to be converted on the
computer before use, and that takes quite a while.....so, in the
end, as I take lots of 'snaps' I've ended-up taking mostly
the large/uncompressed JPG's - they still print PHOTO quality
up to 10x8 - A4 )

.......errrrrrr..... sorry lads.........bit boring that......... I'll bog off now....:(

No mine is still at PPS Automotive (also PPS Bodytech which is why I was asking), all the parts have arrived after lots of problems with Honda UK, so it is getting put back together now.

Currently driving a clapped out 206 GTi

was great to finally meet some of the faces on the board and to meet Mr D, who whilst living about 5 minutes from my front door I had never seen until that day. Was fun on the way down with him behaving on the motorway until the bmw's went past .....

Had to get back early though so didn't get to talk to many of you - but completed the 'spot the branners' competion and slipped him my tenner.
